It did, but there was another update, Display - 3.4001, so upon pausing, cancelling the install by re-enabling the Group Policy, and hiding that as well (just in case), I was finally able to rest easy. I then set 'Do not include driver updates with Windows Update' Group Policy back to 'Not Configured' and checked for updates to ensure that the tool worked. Then I ran the 'Show & Hide Updates' tool and hid Display - 3.10121. That brought back the Record & Stream tab + settings, which I tested to ensure it worked. I couldn't rollback my driver, so I made sure to reinstall Radeon Software 21.10.2 with both 'Factory Reset' & 'Save Settings' checked when installing. 26 minute(s) 28 second(s) 17 second(s) Download restriction. Block the offending driver from automatically foisting itself back onto your PC by using Microsoft's Show or Hide Updates Tool ( direct), or by preventing drivers from being updated through Windows Update altogether using Group Policy (not recommended).Rollback the offending driver using Device Manager (if possible, if not, then export a snapshot of your settings, reinstall Radeon Software, and import that snapshot). This has to be the culprit.Įdit: I fixed it by reinstalling Radeon Software after preventing that driver from auto-updating itself through Windows Update. It occurred after I un-checked the 'Do not include driver updates with Windows Update' using the Group Policy editor Computer Configuration->Administrative Templates->Windows Components->Windows Update, the first (and only) update it installed was Display - 3.1012.
